Almost a year ago I was asked to assist two ladies with their project plan. They attended one of our Business Plan workshops and we got going on the process of converting their dreams into actual plans and budgets. All things were going well until the project hit a brick wall: Political red tape. There just seemed no way forward so it was decided to shelve the plans and wait.

Yesterday I got a call from one of them, “We have land, we can go ahead with the project”. The wait had paid off and now we can get back to the grind stone and fulfill their dream. So often we give up too soon and never follow through. We see the first obstacle in our path as a sign that it was not meant to be, but actually over coming that obstacle builds us for the even bigger one further down the path. Entrepreneurship is a process of personal development as much as it is a business development. Two characteristics stand out for successful entrepreneurs: Confidence and Persiverance. How are you doing today?
