As an entrepreneur we are often faced with
the issues of balance. How much time to spend at work, with family or doing
exercise. This dilemma that we have to deal with each day is easily solved with
a strict schedule that is adhered to by everyone involved.
Let me explain. We need to have 3 focal
points when it comes to time management. Working In, On and Out of our
business. That means that we have set times that we roll up our sleeves and
work In the business, this is when we generate the cash and work with the team
to produce an income. But as a business owner we are also required to work On
the business. This is strategy time dedicated to planning, reporting and
steering the business towards set plot points.
The third point is to create time to work
out of our businesses. This too needs to be split into 3 areas: Spending time
with family and friends, spending time on health and exercise and then time
just for yourself. Each of these is important to manage stress and
relationships.

write out some goals for the next few weeks with allocation made to In, On and
Out time.
