I heard this quote in a movie on TV a few days ago and it lingered with me. I do not remember what programme it was or when but the comment was directed to a girl who had physical assets that she was encouraged to use to further her dancing career. She was dressed in a loose fitting grey and brown outfit that did nothing to show off her ‘sexy’.

How often we as business owners keep our best attributes under wraps at functions or networking events in order not to seem proud or boastful. We go around wanting to grow our business and wonder why we do not get leads and new clients but fail to share our assets with them. Be bold, be brave, show off your sexy. Tell people what you do and how well you do it with authentic confidence. Look them straight in the eye, business card held out and tell them that you are the right person for job.

Don’t go around hiding your sexy.
