Do Not Call Me Again, Ever

Posted by Bruce Wade on Saturday, April 9, 2011 Under: National Pride

One of the off spins of the CPA (Consumer Protection Act) is the implementation and control of a Do Not Call Me database. This database lists all the people, phone numbers and email addresses who have opted out of direct marketing services.

Having your details on this list will mean that you should never receive calls from those pesky insurance, security and cell phone call centers again. Sound like the best thing since ice-cream? It does come with a warning: You may just miss out on that once in a life time opportunity of cheaper insurance or that second cell phone that you never knew you always wanted. So if you are willing to take the plunge and cut yourself off from all those informative calls during supper time of when you are in your car, then register here and enjoy the silence and privacy that the CPA provides us.

And yes for all those skeptics out there, it does work and your details are not sold to anyone.
