As the eyes of the world turn towards South
Africa we have begun to see a huge change in attitude of people in our own
country as we welcome visitors from around the world.
We had millions of people out in the
streets celebrating the SA team on Wednesday and again on Friday we have called
all people to take to the streets to blow their vuvuzelas to welcome the world
to the start of the tournament. This Facebook event started just 7 days ago
have amassed a huge following and interest.
Social Media marketing around an event is
an interesting experiment and this is proof that social media does work. All
one needs is a good event around a brand that creates a vibe of interest and let
it loose on the web waves. We have collected a series of statistics on the
