The Cape Town Entrepreneurship Week runs
from 15 – 21 November. This now an annual event plans to put Cape Town on the
map as far as entrepreneurship, innovation, collaboration and small business
development. During the week there will be a host of small workshops, seminars,
open days, displays and meetings. These all peak into three main flagship
events at the CTICC, UWC and Khayalitsha. The Entrepreneur Incubator has put together
a series of Panel workshops that will be presented throughout the week at various
venues around the city as well as at the three main event venues. The topics of
these workshops include the following:
- Small Business Compliance
- Marketing for Small Business
- Business Plan Development
- Becoming a Twenty Tweener –
Redefining your Business
- Business Idea Feasibility and
Niche creation
- Finance for Small Business Developing a Web Presence
- Values Centered Business Ethics Turning your Passion into
Profit
- The 9 Hats of an Entrepreneur
- Leveraging Technology for your
Business
Each workshop will run for 90 minutes with
time for short presentations followed by Q&A with the panel. We plan to
have a series of sponsored prizes to give away at each workshop. If you have
any product or service that you wish to promote, this is an ideal time and
opportunity. All sponsors will be given full coverage with a chance to be
listed in the CTEW brochure as well as at each venue.
If you would like to sponsor a prize in the
form of a donation, discount voucher or service offering for any specific
workshop topic, please get hold of Bruce Wade to discuss the details.
