This week we have seen our entrepreneurial idol Richard Branson attend a number of events both worldwide and here in South Africa. The Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship has hosted workshops for over 4000 small business owners , staged a fashion show for Lesego Malatsi a fashion designer from the centre.  In an interview earlier this week Branson advised entrepreneurs to approach business with a greater purpose. "I think they just need to change their way of thinking as to running their businesses, make them a force for good, not just a force to make money, if they think like that and they empower all their staff to think like that, they can make a massive difference.”

We agree with Richard and look forward to this new wave of economic business development hitting our country this year. From the north we have the Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship and from the south we have the Entrepreneur Incubator and academy. Together we will make a huge difference.

Rumor also has it that there will be a roll out of Virgin hotels across Southern Africa soon.
